Title: 'Hubung'  Self Portrait ‘Hubung,’ which means ‘to connect’ in my mother tongue, perfectly captures my journey of bridging two worlds. It reflects how I’ve stayed tied to my family and culture in Malaysia while exploring new boundaries of self and adapting to life in the U.S. “Hubungan” reflects my constant process of introspection—where my two worlds intertwine. It captures the evolving web of relationships and experiences that shape me, as I navigate this new world with my heart open and a bright curiosity. It illustrates how I adapt, grow, and discover my place in an ever-expanding world.
